man [1]

This is the first command that you should know when entering the world of Linux, second to Google being your friend, but in the days of yore, we relied on help commands and sheets and books. Linux is known for its most important feature, which is documentation. The man command gives you the user the power to see the description and usage for every command that is added to the systems man page. This is without having Internet access. However, a link has been added here as with all commands, in case you happen to be on Windows :).
